Interview with Max Brooks - Making the World War Z Audiobook

Random House has a very cool interview with Max Brooks about the audiobook edition of World War Z -- and audiobooks in general. Brooks makes this a fun, interesting interview. Originally posted on Random's Science Fiction Site, Suvudu, it took place at this year's Comic-Con. Give it a listen!

I checked back on my notes from an interview I did with Max Brooks for AudioFile Magazine and their Audiopolis podcast reviews about two years ago. Found an extra summary sentence about World War Z I should've used: "I still can't decide whether the book is humorous, ultra-realistic or just intensely geeky." Maybe it's all three. And it sounds like Max might agree. The other thing about Max Brooks is that he has the absolutely coolest showbiz pedigree in the known universe, at least for my generation. He's the son of Anne Bancroft and Mel Brooks. Are you kidding me? Max is destined for great things.
