Enjoy audiobooks?  So do I - and I hope I can share some of my enthusiasm for them with you!  This site has two purposes. The first is to share information about audiobooks.  Whatever I think audiobook listeners might find useful and/or enjoyable, that's what I'll try to put on this site.

The second purpose is to serve as a resource for those creating reviews for Audiopolis, the audiobook review podcast from AudioFile Magazine.  Those with a "reviewer login" have access to additional resources that they can use in creating "sound reviews."  As a contributing editor for AudioFile, I'm involved in editing these unique reviews that give listeners a better idea of what they can expect from specific titles.

Sometimes I get to review as well, and these are the most exciting, challenging and rewarding types of reviews I've ever done.  They're also just plain fun. Why?  Because they are audio reviews of audiobooks!  It's a format which makes perfect sense for the medium being reviewed.  Reviews can be heard at the AudioFile site, on iTunes, and on WKMS, a 100,000 watt, NPR affiliated station which offers weekly broadcasts of Audiopolis reviews for their listeners.

If you have questions or think you might be interested in reviewing for Audiopolis, I'd be glad to hear from you. You can reach me at sdunman@gmail.com.  Thanks for visiting my site!  -- Susan Dunman
